Weird blob algae?

Can anyone help me identify what this weird blob like algae is that I have been getting recently? They seem to be pretty buoyant. They always form in these round/ball like shapes and are sometimes anchored by a short strand reminiscent of a balloon on a string.

They sorta remind me of cotton candy actually...

If it's what I think it is, and your photo could use help, it's not alage. You might wish it's alage but it's not :(

Sounds like Dino's.

Shoot...at first I didn't think so by the looks of it. But now that it has developed even more....gosh :headwallblue:

More pictures (hopefully more clear this time):

It's all over the rock and on some of the coral as well.
Maybe that is why all my mushrooms have been unhappy lately...

I guess I can only blame myself: negligence and no quarantine :debi:

So you guys think it is Dino? What's the best course of action?

Nuke the whole nano tank and start over? I was actually thinking of transferring everyone over to a larger tank...but if everything's contaminated...iono

No

All tanks have Dino's (IMHO) it's just when conditions are right, they flourish.

It seems dino blooms, in part, are a result of restricted biodiversity.

First and most effective in many cases is a cheep Jaebo UV sterilizer. Wipes out a lot of cases

Stop doing water changes, if you must do a water change, use a differant brand of salt.

Strange...came home today and some of it disappeared: the 3 ridges on top of the rock.

Is this actually dino.....
