Weird thing found at Petco

I was checking my local Petco which was poorly taken care of as you expect. I found this weird white thing alittle smaller than my pinky. It looked like bacteria and it looks like there are two little eyes at the top of it. Anybody know what it is? Thanks

That was my assumption as well but why is it upright, that doesn't make much sense to me.

Maybe some kind of crab or shrimp buried it or something

almost looks like the "face" of a kings crown snail

It looks like the decomposing body of a Blenny or something to me.
