Gross! these brown slimy deals are coming out of these tubes I figured were empty it every tube in the tank doing it at the same time. What in the world is this please say it's normal.
looks like spaghetti worms from the pictures. They collect food with those long tentacles. I Have them all over my tank. They usually are more visible during a bloom or pods spawning. Feeding Plankton
Oh no that one is just shedding its a kenya tree, my corals are all doing great.
I apologize for the signature I have the tapatalk app and it won't let me update. My tank is 7 months old
My guess is vermetid snail. It's kinda hard to see the tubes in ur pics, but if you do a google images search you can see some examples.
They are like a worm that lives inside a hard swirly shell tube and shoots out a cobwebby snot net to catch food from the water. It's not the worst thing to have, some people even like them for cleaning the water, but a lot of people think the stringers irritate coral or they just don't want all the tubes around so they snap them off or out superglue over the end of it to kill them.
Are they innocent collectors? Pods!!! I hope so, my tank is now growing coralline which I'm thrilled.

They're vermetids . The strands are mucus webs which they produce to catch food. The webs can irritate corals and clams and lead to coral death over time. The small white dots on your magnet are their babies and if there's enough food in your tank there'll be an infestation. They can even block up your pipes when they're big enough. One person had his tank overflow from outlet pipe being blocked by them. If I were you I'd get rid of them.
