weird worm things on rock and coral???

I have these tubes growing on my sps and live rock.it looks like tiny worms come out of them.When the tank is distubed(like cleaning the tank)they dispence this stringy slime.I tried to take pictures but the camera is not the greatest and I could not get and a good shot.Does anyone know what they could be?

Sounds like vermetid snails to me. They're harmless.

You can just pick them off the rock but I don't see a problem with just letting them be.

I have them as well, i just leave them be as they are fun to watch sometimes.

I disagree. Get rid of them now while there are only a few... They will grow, multiply, and produce mucous nets to catch stuff. the mucuos is bothersome to some corals and is annoying to look at.

IME breaking them off doesnt kill them, but what I do is break them off as low as possible, then stick my pointy tweezers down the hole, and wiggle it around to kill the wormy snail.
