Last week I officially joined the ranks of tridacnid owners, and am very excited to have done so!

Here is a photo of the 4" deresa I got (at a steal, $35 from lfs!):

I can now see how these things are addicting.. I plan to get atleast 1 more, and hopefully 2-3 in the future.

Very nice, I got addicted too after getting a small maxima a year ago, then I added a crocea, a gigas and my last is a derasa looks just like yours. I have a few pics on my gallery. good luck!
