I wanted to take a moment to welcome Whatsupdoc to The SEAS. He is our newest member, and has several tanks up and runing. A 130g, 75g, and a 29g if I remember correctly.

Welcome!

Jason

Hey thanks triggerjay. Thats close, currently a 135 mixed reef, broke down the 65 reef and combined it with the 135 which was a low lit tank. Then my 11yo. son's got a 10, we're getting ready to do a 29 foam/rock build for him soon to replace the 10. Picked up the dremmel bits today to do the drilling with. Just gotta get some bulkheads coming. Will likely do twin 10's for sump/fuge there.look for it, I'll do a build thread when we get started.

Welcome wattsupdoc! I think you will enjoy the club... we do some fun events! Speaking of; whats in the works for June> Jason :)
Also, please get your build up for us; would love to follow and let me know if you need any help!

humm... good question.. I have been busy, and have not really planned anything. I think I may have someone willing to host the July meeting, and I am also willing to host another... now, on another note... I think its time to hold another event of some sort. Maybe a BBQ at Fish's place? Frag swap maybe? You guys tell me this time... what ya wanna do? SEAS bowling night? I'm all ears!

Jason

The last frag swap really didn't go over that well. We only had a couple people bring frags and not very many people showed up period. The event that we received the best attendance and was talked about the most was the fragging demonstration. I don't know where we stand with the seas money but I think some people would even be willing to pay some amount of money to get in on the action. What does everyone else think?

Some great ideas - I just started a poll over on The SEAS website for members to weigh in with ideas. Go cast your vote!
