Weld on #3 or #4

What one should I get weld on #3 or #4? I am using acrylic with square cuts that I made with my table saw.

I believe most use #4.

16 is good as well

#4 is also a bit slower...giving you more time than #3. However, both #3 and #4 can be used for "wicking". #16 is the thick stuff.

what are you building with this acrylic? if its a sump you will need to prep the edges alot better than just table saw cut edges. they need to be almost perfectly smooth or there will be alot of air bubbles in the seams.
