I have a 50G and have the same dilema. Where is the thread for the medium sized tanks? Most people do not keep 180+ or less than 30.

Post questions about mid-level tanks in the Reef Discussion forum. A nano forum and large tank forum exist because those are not the norm and are considered "special interest" groups. Just like there's a forum for mantis shrimp. You can keep a mantis in any size tank, but owning one puts you into a special interest group since they're not very well-behaved in the typical community reef (i.e. they kill things).
