Wellso help

During me most recent re-shuffling of my tank I noticed some algae and tissue recession on the back side of my wellsophylia. It looks like some of the skeleton is poking through. Should I use Iodine and if so at what ratio or what other suggestions would you have. I did 1 dip for 5 min a week ago in CoralRx. I'll see if my pics will show it. Thanks

Just be careful with the amount of iron you toss in, too much can also promote unwanted algae from what i hear. I wish i could help you more, but the only thing that comes to mind (if your welso is big enough) is if the current on the back of him is any stronger, it might cause him to roll up a bit back there and that could be one of i'm guessing many issues. Or maybe there is another coral nearby thats able to reach the back of him during the night?

I accidentally left a half of soda bottle that I use when I feed it, in with food in it all night. This morning when I removed it the wellso looked puffer and better than it has for a while. There is a small amount of brown algae on some of the exposed skeleton so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
