Went to tritons Gardens and had a blast.

First of all I want to thank Jack and Kathy for letting us in their home/business. Also for all the great deals and beautiful fish and corals. Mapn4reef and I went down there today and had fun with kathy catching and bagging all of our goodies. Needless to say a fish ended on the floor and my armpit got soaked, but we had a blast.

Now for the exciting details I finally got my prize centerpiece fish. A purple tang heres a link of a video that kathy sent me last night.

What a beautiful fish. I also got 5 diff sps and a beautiful wrasse( and for the life of me I cant remember the name right now)

Also Jack and Kathy both said they would gladly have a club meeting at their house and would love everyone to come. So thats something to consider. Enjoy the pics !

thats a very nice looking purple tang! I love mine. had it for at least 5 years and its been a great fish. good temperment and talk about beautiful when just the actinics are on. the subtle stripes and spots are AWESOME!.. I bought a nice green tort from them at the swap. a few of the tips have not does well, but it polyps out very good every day. not really sure what happened to it. it came with an acro shrimp or two and a crap. thanks for sharing.

Yeah, we had a great visit. Very impressive SPS at good prices...I could go broke there. Catching that wrasse was very interesting for sure, he was in the SPS tank. We definitely need to have a meeting down there one afternoon when the weather is nice.

Jason, I'm sure they can get ya a nice purple tang as well.

The Scoly and the neon yellow Trachy in the 3rd photo post, 3rd photo are now living in my tank...they are so awesome. The "bossy" six line is now in "pod heaven"...after flopping on the concrete he probably does think he died and went to heaven, LOL...

OK. I swapped it with a millepora to see if it does any better. has some tissue loss at the tips and thinning on the back side. it was about 5" below the surface, now closer to 10, so we will see how it goes. are they High current or mid current?
