This is a really odd thread for me to read, because every time I've been into Puppy Center I've found the staff to be arrogant and unhelpful. Night and day with Realm of Pets, where Zach and Sarah are awesome.
I'd love to be able to say that Puppy & Aquarium Center is a great store because, frankly, they have a wider selection and more stock than Realm of Pets a lot of the time, at least for livestock, but the staff is terrible and every invert/fish I've bought from them has had problems and/or died.

Wow that is completely opposite of what I have ever experienced I go to pc multiple times a week and have never had a bad experience. Joe is awesome and every staff member is great as well. Pc's stock has been getting better and better over the last couple months. Pc is a great store.

I say they have the best store in ct. I don't make it up there that often because of how far from me it is but when I do they always take care of me.

They were good to me made sure I was taken care of.
Zach and Sarah at Realm are awesome I did purchase puppy from Sarah 2 years ago.

They even steered me away from some SPS's due to how new my tank is.
(Even though its fully cycled.)
Its rare to find a LFS that cares that much to hold off on a short sale, in hopes of making a long term customer. I still find it odd to see a store sell puppy's and Reef stuff. But you know what, I'm an avid dog lover so its kinda cool to me.
Sorry to hear about getting poor service there, remember we all have off days. I'd give them another try, see if they can change your mind.

There's a couple of stores in Manchester/Vernon as well.
Animal City, Wet Pets, Aquatic Wildlife, and Fintastic Aquariums. I know the owner of Fintastic personally and he's a cool guy, will help you with anything. Never actually been to his shop though. I go to Aquatic Wildlife pretty frequently though, I got most of my coral from them. They gave me a great price on my light fixture and I'm always able to negotiate prices with them. They'll also guarantee their salt water fish as well.
