Wet Band saw

Hello everybody.

My Name ist Karsten and I am from Germany, so please unterstand My Bad english

I am building My own coral Shop with small frags, sps and zoanthid are easy to cut.

But i Need a wet Band saw, i prefer the dfs - 100 from Inland, but in Germany it is impossible! To get one.

I could get a db-100 for 350€ (the last to get here) with No warranty because of the saltwater.

So I registered here to get help, maybe there is a way to get a Second Hand dfs-100 if someone Who ships to Germany, but how can i find one?

My Alternative would be to buy a normal bandsaw without cooling but with a Diamond blade. I could cool the coral seperately with a bottle near the saw, would be This Okay or would be the heat too much?

I want to frag lps Like favia, Acanthastrea etc.

I think you'd be better off in the long term with a Gryphon C-40 or Aquasaw, they're better at fragging and last longer. Much higher quality too, the Inlands are a little rattly.

Yes.

If i would live in the USA i would buy instantly this saw.

Today i called the Inland Support and they told me that the Motor got Problems and they waiting half year in Germany for the saw. And another Company told me the Inland saw are Not good quality.

I could buy a Gryphon on eBay, but there are much costs for the inch.

So I would be about 500€ for the saw and this is little Bit too much

A saw is a minor expense if your setting up a real coral shop.

Have you tried hitting up Gryphon Europe? Might be cheaper... Either way a Gryphon will last longer than an Inland, so it helps to consider the long term costs of eventually paying for 2 Inlands.

Yeah you're right.

I want to purchase now the Gryphon.

But i didn't find a Shop which deliveres to Germany.

Has someone Maybe a tip for me?
