I am moving to a new house next month that will allow me to have a separate wet room behind the show tank. I thought about an in-wall display but the wall is an exterior, load-bearing wall and it would take too much to do that.........but, I am wondering about environmental control (heating and cooling) in the wet room.
It is a one-car garage and insulating is not going to be too tough but the thought of an electric heater and A/C is daunting. I am not even going to mention what my electric bill is now........much less running another energy-hog appliance.
Are there any propane, natural gas, solar, ??? options out there that make sense?
Should I look at venting in from the house?
I have some time so I want to do this thing right (and efficiently)
