Sorry I dont have a pic, but I walked into a local pet store today and couldnt beleive my eyes. They had 3-4" MAP PUFFER for $45!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I said $45!!! The guy working there asked if I needed some help, it took me 2 seconds to look at him and say "I'll take this guys right here" Now the only thing that stinks is I had no place for him, but I knew my friend wanted one. The puffer is already in my friends tank.

How the heck was this guy $45!!! They had clownfish there that cost more!!!!

Are you 100% sure it wasn't a guinnea fowl? They can look pretty close at times and variations...if it truely is, good for you! In california, we are spoiled with good fish deals. I see 6-7" maps go for $109 all of the time at Exotic in south sac. They get them for $5 a piece before they are *****-shipped over. That is where the price tag goes up! Shipping....

yeh im positive it was a map, ive had 3 guineas, reticulated, stellars, Stars and stripes, you name it. I picked it up so quick cuz i knew EXACTLY what it was

Then SCORE!!! I would have also. I got a small titan trigger for $17, and a 4" desjardin tang for $13.50! Can't pass up a great deal!

I got a chrysurus angel for $45, a orange shoulder tang for $17 and a few others for real cheap.

Congratulations, I don't really like puffers myself the mappa being my one exception.

Got to love the deals. My best has been picking up a 8"+ Polleni Grouper for $100.
