I just got home from work and checked on my nano. This thing is on my back wall corner. It wasn't there in the morrning. Anyone can tell me what's that?

Thanks,

Andreas

well I don't know what happen to the pix. But I'll try to explain it. On the back wall of the tank I got a spiral about 1.5" high and 1" wide. Pinkish color and kind of slimy. I'll try to upload the photos though!

Looks like a spawn, what critters do you have in your tank that might have spawned? Some snails lay eggs in nice spirals but I haven't seen pick or orange eggs from snails. Nudibraches lay interesting looking egg pattererns.

I got one of those Nudibraches in the tank. And an arrow crab. some turbo snails thats all.

Eggs from Nudibranch is best guess, turbos are broad casters spawners and unlikely the arrow crab would lay eggs on the glass in mid water levels.

What kind and color is the nudibranch? can you show pics of the nudi?

He's got one of the purple princess nudi from out here. Usually in deep water, but I have seen them in 50'. They are about 3 inches long, bright purple, blue and bright yellow. He is letting it go, probably as we read. He's learning what to put in and what not to put in your tank. Andreas called me yesterday, and asked if I wanted it, and I dont know if it would eat zoas and stuff, plus the problem if it died, so I declined. I am sure that is the nudi's eggs.

Sorry on the name, I think the nudi is called Reef Goddess. It has been a while since I used the common name for those. I think they eat sponges, but they may eat other stuff.

I did a search and its real common name is Regal Sea Goddess. I know it was something weird! And they apparently eat the light blue sponge, that grows down low under rocks and under ledges. They could eat all mine, but then what would it eat?
