Absolutely. And wow there were a ton of people. Not sure on the final count, but everyone had a great time. Thanks again to all those who make these meetings possible.
Great attendance. Good food. It is always good to visit other tank set ups. The opportunity to see what is working is allways of educational value. I believe every time I have attended a meeting I walk away with more knowledge and a better chance to provide a tank enviroment to grow corals.
I agree 100%.I was also excited about seeing some faces I haven't seen in a long time and of course the new ones.Did anyone happen to catch what the par numbers were on the different tanks?I heard a little on the LED numbers but that's about it.Jason thank you again and I enjoyed seeing your tanks.
Ya - Great meeting! Yes, if anyone caught the par readings of the different tanks (Top, Middle, bottom) please post them up. also, did anyone get the par readings on Seth's LED Pendant? that sucker was bright!
Par numbers on the 100 LED were less than the 3 watt fixtures he already had. If I remember right they where 450(just under water surface), 150 half way down and 50 almost at the bottom. The other fixture was about 25 to 40 points higher at each level depending which LED it was under. The farther you got away from the center of the 100 LED the more the numbers dropped. The rod wasn’t long enough to reach the bottom and I didn’t want to put my hands in his tank. I liked the look but IMO they are not at the same level as good T5 fixture yet. Not sure the difference but I’ve seen crazy LED numbers online. Maybe someone can explain the difference….
I'm bummed i missed it now. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things, picked up a new soccer team this year and we are trying to work that into a normal routine.
