Hi everyone. I'm new here so bear with me.
I need some help to get my tank pulsing with a bit more life, it seems a bit flat.
The tank is 6x2x2 with a 4x1.5x1.5 sump. Jebao dc6000 return pump, bubble magus nac6 skimmer, d&d reactor running bio pellets, vortech MP40 on one end and MP10 on the other, 2x IT2060 light units, eheim canister running floss ( changed twice a month ) uv steriliser running 12hrs a day and a 300w heater in the sump.
I have 80kg of live rock and 20kg of dead and a shallow sand bed.
I only have a few soft corals as my two angels would decimate anything nice but they don't seem to grow. All look well and the water tests fine but I seem to have lost all the micro organisms that used to live in my old tanks. Snails and hermits die quickly and even my shrimp only lasted a few months.
Weirdly I get no algae growth except the dusty crap on the glass, sand and rocks are clean.
Any ideas?
