I recently bought the Tunze 6085 and took apart for my first cleaning. Like socks in the dryer, I have know idea how stuff just VANISHES
As I'm putting back together, I have a bare shaft end? I got the book out that came with it and on page 36 it shows a parts diagram. If I orient the #3 drive assembly into the motor housing with blue tip of shaft fitting into the front grill piece, it leaves me with a bare shaft tip going into the motor housing? I look down in there and the space is bigger than the shaft, kind of hex shap about 1/8 inch? Think I'm missing the (disc for drive) ? Anything I can do or make or buy at my local hardware store? Thanks!
