What am I???

I have something that I cannot confirm as to what it is after several searches. It is white and smaller than the diameter of a dime but bigger than a pencil eraser. It let's out a long line of mucus and then reels it back in as I assume it is its way of feeding. I can't say for sure as it's so small but the closest organisms to me makes it appear as a vermetid?

What do you think? They seem as though they are harmful to corals if so it's got to go! Thanks for your input.

Vermetid snail.

Most likely answer.

Does it look like a small tube that is wound up like a garden hose at the base and the extends up from the coil some short distance?

I can't see that in the pic. If it looks like that, BrotheNature is right on the money. If it doesn't, you need a better photo.

I turned the rock over and sure enough it looks like a wound up garden hose at the base. I did research as to why they can be harmful to corals so I removed the vermetid. Thank you all for the help!
