What amount of heatsink?

I am working on a DIY Led build and was wondering if there was a ratio of watts per led to amount of heatsink or anything similar to that. Thanks in advance.

Heatsink usa has a good amount of info on that .....I got mine from them I have 3 10x10 fixtures with 250w on each and just use 2 4in fans on each and they stay cool to the touch as long as the fans are operational .....I just changed out the fans after a year and a half of them running.....
