What and how often do you feed your clowns?

Just curious... I have a mixture of Red Sea pellet, Formula 1 flakes, and Rod's food. Not sure how to alternate or how often to feed my babies. Want to make sure they grow, are nice and healthy, and color up real pretty.

Not to mention that hopefully they will produce some babies one day...

I feed a mix of frozen and dried flake. There are nutrients that they can get from the flake that they wouldn't get from frozen, and there are nutrients in the frozen that are not in the flake foods.

I feed Omega One SuperColor Flake, the appitiete enhanser w/ garlic, the vegie flakes (even clowns eat those), and then for frozen, mix of brine, mysis, cyclopeez, and a home made coral food. I feed when I remember really, so I would say 4 times a week?....You do have to think about it, most fish out on a reef sometimes won't get a meal for days, and skip a day or two in a row, just to keep with a semi-natural simulation.

ive been a big fan of the ocean nutrition formula 1, formula 2 and prime reef flake. i tried rods food, and wasnt impressed. im currently trying aquadine foods, and think i like them. PE and hikari mysis. cyclopeeze.

i havent been feeding regularly because of a phosphate battle, but usually i feed every day a small amount of one type and just alternate. sometimes several different foods periodically throughout the day, especially during breeding.

I usually feed flake food in the morning (Formula 1, 2, or brine shrimp), and then homemade frozen food in the evening (a combination of fish, shrimp, and squid, with some selcon added if I'm trying to get the pair to breed.

4 times a day.

i think i've heard them oink before.

1 feeding is typically cyclopeeze only, 2 are BSD flake+ diets, and 1 is either mysis or homemade frozen chow.

I feed 2-3 times a day with my home made frozen food and Omega One pellets. The fozen food is consist of oysters, clams, nori, phyto, silversides and fresh carrot juice.

Most of the time twice a day, sometimes 3 times on the weekends, or once if I am lazy. ;)

Switch b/t Spectrum pellets, LifeLine's Herbivore mix, Prime Reef, Rod's Food, mysis, angel formula ( got to keep my angels happy. ;) ), and some smaller pieces of krill that I drop in while feeding the anemones.

The carrot juice neutralizes some of the fishy smell that the frozen food mixture has. When I did not use carrot juice, my tank water smelled badly. Therefore:

Carrot juice = Less stinky livingroom. :D

I feed my tank (and hence the clowns) 3/4 times per day with small portions.

Flake in the morning before work (formula 1)

Then more flake in the evening (6ish) formula1 or cyclopeeze

Then arctic pods soaked in New Era Liposome spray (about 7ish)

Then maybe 1 more random feed at about 8ish, maybe flake or fuzzyphytes.

As i say never enough in 1 serving so that there is any left, these are just very small portions. I think smaller portions more often is definitely better than 1 feeding IMO.

I feed mine 3 times a day my clowns are still new 1 onyx and one picasso
enriched baby brine shrimp
mysis
cyclopeeze
Rod's food
Copepods
Artipods
Frozen brine

They get a varied diet, this is not all fed at once.

BBS, cyclop-eeze flakes, spirulina twice a day. The female once ate a spaghetti worm also.

They seem to like the bbs and spirulina the best.
