what are some gobies that exept food easily?

I just picked up a neon blue goby this weekend and he's eating well already. Great little fish!

In my previous tank I had a yellow watchman goby and he ate with no problems as well.

I've had yellow watchman, diamond/orange spot, and golden sleeper head gobies without any eating issues. Shy at first, but no real eating issues.

I have a YWG and Randall's Goby and both are pretty healthy eaters and have been since I got them. Had a yellow clown goby before and he was a good eater as well.

My neon doesn't go near the bottom of the tank. He perches on the back wall and different places on the LR... still a little shy, but is getting more bold and will swim in the middle of the LR from time to time.

In my previous tank, the yellow watchman hung out on the bottom and would take mouthfulls of sand and sift through it. Funny to watch! He would swim around a bit - especially at feeding time - but mostly stuck to the bottom.

Mine perched on the live rock as well. It was tank bred so always out and about. Also means they eat pretty much anything...

They are actually a cleaner of certain fish too, so you may get to watch that depending on tankmates. Stay quite small and peaceful. I believe they have a shorter lifespan (1-2 years if I recall).

+1 !

I've got one that I have a hard time believing it's a goby. Little neon piggy would be more appropriate. Never a missed meal. :)

My diamond watchman goby heartily eats prepared foods. I'm interested in getting a neon goby, but am worried his mouth isn't big enough to eat the regular size NLS pellets (my main food staple).

How big are those pellets? I'd be shocked if one could eat anything solid over 2mm. And 3mm - no possible way. But I'd say they should be able to eat something around 1mm pretty easily.
