What are the chances of....

I have a Green Spotted Puffer (GSP) this fish had been a freshwater fish all of it's life. For the past year it's been slowly acclimated to .026 salinity in SW. Being that it lived the first part of it's life in complete freshwater and acclimated over to SW it's never seen another SW fish or corals. What are the chances of this fish actually being reef safe? I've been waging a war in my head on whether or not to put it in my reef tank. When I say reef safe, I particularly mean safe with corals.

Anybody got any ideas or tried this before?

I'm guessing that this hasn't been attempted too many times being that there are a lot of other more colorful puffers available to the marine hobby
