I would have gotten a Solana but couldn't afford it so I got an aquapod instead.

Ahh Yes, good choice. Keeps the temp down.
I upgraded to an ATI but that is an excellent choice there and fits the tank nicely. Had I not gone ATI, the NEP would have been my 2nd choice.
 
The current usa cardiff is pretty neat looking. I haven't seen one setup yet though. But for an AIO rimless it is a pretty system.
 
Solana is nice but I MUCH prefer the dimensions of the Finnex. I'd much rather have more width and a little less depth.

I conpletely agree the whole nano with overflow is much better. But its just for nano sake finnex is the best but BC is the most popular for cost.

This is your opinion, that Finnex is "the best".
It will be up to the individual to decided what is the best for them.

And as far as Do It Yourself aquariums, did you all read the original posters question/statement?


what are the most popular nano tanks at the moment? I am new to aquariums, and would like to no what are the most popular nano tanks at the moment?

Not sure a DIY is the best idea for someone NEW to aquariums!?
