what are the most popular nano tanks at the moment?

I've seen them for $750 at premium aquatics and marinedepot.com. Check out craigslist too, you'd be amazed what aquariums people sell on there.

Nice 12th post...awesome input!

Post count does not correlate to knowledge or experience. I was only attempting to point out the hypocritical nature of many of your posts as you previously told others they were off topic. I would wager you had to make a 12th post sometime yourself... no hard feelings.

Well I would say the best way to start would be to find a rough stocking list of the types of livestock you would like to keep. This makes recommendations tailor better to your needs. In general if on a tighter budget if it were me I would probably piece a system together rather than purchasing an all-in-one setup. A good starting point would be to nail down a rough livestock list and then pick your tank size accordingly. Then we can look into your equipment options and go from there.

Yep, I agree here! The livestock list would help to know so the advice people give can bear that in mind.

I just want to keep Some anemones ( haven’t decided which ones just yet. star fish, corals ( varieties) tangs, clowns, snails, and crabs. not too much stuff. as I get more into the Hobby I will upgrade the tank. this is why I do not want to spend 750-900 on a AIO now. eventually I will get a larger tank as the hobby grows.

tangs won't do in any "nano." neither will most anemones in anything less than a 30. you'd be sticking to bubble tipped nems for the entire tank, and even then multiple nems in one tank can be dangerous if you don't have the room (ie a nano). not to mention they are INCREDIBLY difficult to care for IMO. they are horrible shippers and i haven't seen one not bleached in an LFS ever. keep is simple if you are on a budget, stick to some LPS and easier fish and go from there.
