Can anyone tell what the name of these two corals are? I got them on a piece rock a few months back and now they are growing like weeds. Thanks

Brian

One the left is:
Clavularia Glove Polyps

Don't know what the one on the right is, looks like some sort of tree softie.

The one on the left looks like anthelia to me, not clove polyps. Does it ever suck down in on itself like GSP? If not, it's anthelia.

the 1 on the right is with no doubt a sinularia and not a nepthea

The only way to tell 100% for sure nepthea vs. sinularia is to examine the sclerites. Take a small piece from the base, bleach it and look at the coral structures under a microscope. For the purposes of care requirements, it's really not that important.

Left side is definitely Anthelia. Watch out for it, because given the opportunity, it will spread like crazy. Your best bet in containing Anthelia is to make sure it's on the top rock in a pile, or plant its rock directly in the sand, not touching any other rocks.
