But I thought snake polyps followed more of a giany palythoa shape, flaring at the top like a zoa/paly with a mouth and pseudo-skirt. I love the color on these, I've never seen anything like them in the hobby.
Well I guess that's definitely them, are they more endemic to Hawaii than other places? All the photos I've found online were taken in Hawaiian tidal pools/shallow reefs. Has anyone seen any this colorful in the reef trade?

I have snake polyps that look just like those in the picture except for the color, and mine will open after dark and filter feed, and then close up as soon as the lights come on. Mine are just a plain brown color, nothing nearly as bright as the picture.
