A few months ago I had an explosion of baby snails. There are easily a couple hundred of them. They are growing and eating everything including coralline algae off my rocks. I can live with that because the coralline grows back.
They do crawl on some of my corals but I can't really tell if they are eating the corals or just eating microscopic algae off from them.
I also see a number of small white dots on the glass and rocks. I can't say they are eating the coral but they are probably annoying them.
Can anyone identify them and tell me if I should let them be or start removing them by hand to at least reduce their numbers.
