What are these spots on my new yellow clown goby?

Trying to post this with my phone so I'm not sure if the photo will upload, but they're small raised bumps all over his body that's the same color as him. I know it's not ich because I experienced ich outbreaks many times before and this looks nothing like the outbreaks I've experienced in the past.thanks for your help!

Not that I have seen. He acts very normal

Does he get beat up at all...?? They look almost like wounds, like a fish bit him a bit. Or like scratching as someone said... ??

The clown gobies i got in at my shop have the same thing. It's not ick, but definitely some other type of parasite. You can try a fw dip on him if you are able to catch him out. 3-5 mins should be enough. Make sure to get the pH of the fw as close to that of the tank

Did you qt him? Seems like a parasite under his skin I second the fw dip and if you can set up a hospital tank and keep an eye on him

Yea when I got him I immediately put him in a 16 gallon bare bottom tank with a black molly. I was thinking parasite as well so I dosed copper. I'll try the FW dips today after work.

Lizzbrown, we're u able to eradicate the parasite on ur clown gobies or do they still have it?
