What are these?

Sorry for asking but i need to know if i'm to care for them properly. I had a friend drop these off at my house since he was taking his tank down. told me they were ricordeas but they dont look like any from pics i've seen.

will these things multiply? they're purplish brown with tentacles that end in green knobs at feeding time.. currently i'm feeding a plankton/vitamin mix

It's kind of hard to tell from the pic. Kind of look like rhodactis. A healthy tank with decent lighting and they should be alright. How long has your tank been setup? What type of lighting do you have?

its been running about a year, 70 gallon high with 3+inches live sand/crushed coral 125lbs of live rock. i took a better pic i dont have a high end camera so it is what it is thanks for the help though!

Still hard to tell in that shot. Could be rhodactis or R. Florida that aren't colored up well. Does it fluoresce at all under the actinic lights?
