What are these?

We set our 65gal reef tank last June. Everything is going well but I have a question about these things that are growing in my tank. I like the look but a friend of mine saw them today and said they may be part of the "aiptasia" family.... but she wasn't 100% sure. She also said they could take over my tank. So, my question is, what are these and if they are aiptasias do I need to kill them? And how do I go about doing that without causing harm to my other corals/fish? Please take a look at some of the photos... thanks!!!!

ugh oh... I thought these were a type of Zoo coral lol.... Guess I will have to post a pic later this evening so I can get a opinion on what i have....

crap...

Cope, what LFS are you going to that sells majano????i use joes juice and it works great, just be carefull not to use too much, u dont want that stuff floating around everywhere and landing on ur good stuff........

Shut the pumps down while using the joes juice to prevent it from blowing onto your corals. Turn them back on after about 5 minutes.

So we just used some joes joice on them and I think it worked really well... just one more question... after you feed it that stuff and they shrivels up does it take a while for the "stem" to shrink and go away???

Thanks for ALL your help!!!!!!

Are these majanos in front of the GSP? I have some other in the tank I can get pictures of. They have great color and look good. I dont want to have to kill them but if I must I must. I just want to make sure that is what they are...

I only had use Joe's Juice once to get rid of them. Just take a look at them in the a.m. and see how they look, then decide if you think they need another dose.
