what are your mitras 6200 settings?

I am interested in knowing your tank dimensions, how many mitras, and what power settings you are using, etc.

I think I am frying my corals (they look bleached out) but my PAR meter says my light levels are low (150). I don't trust the PAR meter so I need a reality check - what is working for your corals?

My tank is 4x2, I have two 6200 units, and I am running them on high efficiency at 80% power. I run them for about 12 hours a day running the Great Barrier Reef project I downloaded. I have a clear mesh screen top.

sounds like you have the peak daylight period high, i ran mine at 80% for only 2 hours between 12noon and 2pm it drops down to 40% by 5pm and then down from there.

I would go right down to max peak period of only 50% for 2 hours in the day and let the corals recover.
