What are your thoughts to mixing wrasse?

Why is it a bad thing to get female wrasse and the display part you mean to the other sex or out of aggression to one another?

Not a bad thing, just that for most the reason to get them (they are usually much more drab than the males) is to make the males display/keep their colors. That can be acccomplished just as easily with multiple males of different species. You get the colors/display without taking up bioload with dull uninteresting fish.

While hogfanreefer does make a good point that most people only buy the females to make the males display and keep their colors, I think it would be interesting to watch the interaction of the wrasses also with the benefit of the colors and displaying

ow right. I'm rubbish at identifying between the two so I will probably end up with one either way lol. I wouldn't mind but I will consider my stock levels balance it out.

Thanks for bringing that up hogfanreefer.

It has come down to my list. :)

Yellow Wrasse
Pencil Wrasse
Cirrhilabrus earlei Fairy Wrasse
Laboutei Fairy Wrasse

Would a cleaner wrasse survive in this tank?

I have given it some thought though and going to leave out the flasher wrasse and stock the four above. Before I start adding the group of wrasse in, I am going to allow the corals to grow out with plenty of hiding place for the fish to lurk in.

Whilst then I'll be stocking the norm like maybe a group of chromis and pair of clownfish, a twin-spot goby which I'll be homing with the wrasse. When the tank is ready full of coral growth, where there is enough bacteria to keep a group of 5 chromis, a pair of clowns and a goby healthy and alive, then I'll rehome the chromis and clowns and add all four Wrasse fish into the tank at once so there are no territory issues. I think it will be a good idea to get them together and quarantine them in my other tank before they go in. I'll keep them apart but they'll get to recognize each other.

Cleaner wrasses have mixed results as far as surviving in general, but as far as aggression goes there wouldn't be a problem.

The Labouti could be aggressive to the Earlei so I would add him last.
