Im not sure if im answering your question correctly but if you have metal halides like your discription says and your tank is ready I would do maybe a digi or something easy. If its new then you can go with zoanthids or gsp.
It all depends on how long your tank has been set up and what types of corals you are wanting to keep overall.
For hard corals I would start with some Digitat like Brandon said above.
For soft corals it depends on if you want something that will reach out to fill a gap with longer tentacles like a torch or hammer. Or if you want shorter species that will spread mor rapidly like GSP and Zoanthids.
A good place to get ideas before buying is www.liveaquaria.com because they not only show pictures of the coral but also give some general guidance on lighting and care to help inform you before you make the purchase.
