What carbon to run

Trying to get an idea of what the majority of you guys recommend for carbon. I have a next reef MR1 (made locally in Sarasota) that I use for my reactor. Current I have marineland carbon in it and I feel as if that is just the general run of the mill product. What do you all recommend for pristine water clarity?

Be carful I have found some of the really good carbon run in a reactor can do to good of a job and strip the water. Not good. In this hobby if u have something that's working why change. Just been my exsperiance.

The best carbon made for r hobby is the rox BRS carries it, but be carful don't use as much as they recommend to use. Use 1/3 what they say on the directions and change it every 2 weeks instead of every month

Rox if you have the money to spend on it plus shipping
TLF is better then marineland and can be bought in 1lb from FAOIS

I am about to buy carbon and wonder why everyone says ROX is better? I have been out of the game a couple years but there were tests in the past I am trying to relocate that showed possibly Centaur carbon was really good at color removal compared to others in the industry . Has something really changed?
I do see the carbon is supposed to be rinsed with hydrochloric acid instead of Phosphoric. Is this the main reason?
