what clams to get

i want to get a few clams in my 13g tank. what types are the best. i want the to be settled on the sandbed. i will be housing them with 2 clownfish and 2 starfish.

also what lighting should i get?

In my opinion MH, but I know people keep them under PC's and VHO. Many people say that you shouldn't keep a clam in a tank that small. Once again there are people who are having success keeping them in small tanks, but it isn't ideal. I would only get one clam in that small of a tank if you are going to do it. If you don't have MH I would suggest either a Squamosa or Deresa. These clams don't need quite as much light as the Maxima and Croceas, and like the sand bed. Squamosa's need the least amount of light of all of the t. clams.

i have a hippopus in a 10gal right now and it has pc over it

the clams doing great i do feed it every day w/ phyto

its about 2.5-3"
