What clean up crew would you have in a frag tank

Starting to get the small green tufts of algae in the frag tank and Im trying to figure out what I can have in there to keep it cleaned up without bothering the frags. I was thinking small tang since it is a 90 but I think its still a bit small.

Ideas?

True, good point.

A bunch of astrea snails won't get the job done?

I wouldn't deal with crabs or large snails.

Where are you getting the algae showing up?

It's barebottom right?

Are the frags on the bottom? or up on a shelf?

I'd make a eggcrate shelf and put it on PVC stands and just blow some strong powerheads across the bottom so nothing settles. I don't know where algae would grow then.

Just throwing out ideas

I have no idea. My clean up crew in my tank is a cucumber, 3 astrea snails, a conch, and a few shrimp. Kinda pathetic I guess.

How about a Convict Tang, maybe add some Scarlet Hermit Crabs and a few Hawaiian Trochus Grazers.

Did he say Black Mollies?

Did he say Black Mollies?

Do I have a deal for you. Bring a bucket and I'll catch them out of the pond before they freeze. and best of all, the price is FREE ! ! ! and FREE is good!

Is it a freshwater or salt pond?

does it matter? just drip acclimate them and they are good to go, right?

If you deliver I can pay in frags ;) Im thinking about 20-30 let them live in the frag tank, no predators and when they have babies down into the sump and main tank they go
