Basically, non stinging corals that are also adept at surviving in the cooler temperatures of 68° to 74° that work best for seahorses.
Gorgonians, sponges, zoanthids, and soft corals are all great choices. My tank has 10 different species of gorgonians, a bunch of sponges, Florida ricordea, ricordea yuma, assorted mushrooms, macro algaes, toadstool leathers, zoas, clove polyps, and a fiji leather.
