I had a big problem with two damsels being ultra aggressive. I had to get rid of them. It was a shame too because they are full of life and very hardy.
yes definitely agressive. My humbugs the spawn of satan. Im not sure about inverts though. He ripped my humbugs legs off and then did the same to the rest of his body.
From what I've read, the Demoiselle damselfish (genus Chrysiptera) are generally the least aggressive. Some of the most beautiful (like the yellowtail) damsels are in that genus, and it is certainly non-aggressive.
IME lancer is right all damsels ive had have been agressive except for my blue, hes extremely peaceful. All other damels ive had always pick a fight or get very agressive if they get in a fight but my blue one just stays on his own and if he ets anoyed he just retreats into his little hole.
I just had to take my blue devil damsel out of my tank because he was terrorizing everyone. He stressed my toby to death and was biting everyone elses fins and slapping my yellow watchman in the face with his tail.
