What digital camera's do you all use to take your macro shots? Or tank shots?

I am on a mission. To get a new digital camera. Mine is good, but I want one that takes pictures up close as well. Mine works alright, but just not as sharp as I'd like it. It's still a good camera though. So, what all do you use? Do you know of any with remotes? Thank you.

I use a konica minolta dimage z10,with 3.3 megapixel . Very happy with the macros and battery use . Over 300 shots with flash before a charge.I am sure there are better cameras but For the price it is pretty good. But i would get one with more megapixels.
