What do clowns lay eggs on?

Flat surfaces usually. Many people use a piece of tile (as stupid as it sounds) and the clowns will actually lay on them! This way you can remove the eggs so you don't polute the display tank

mine lay on clay pots.

of course, that's the only option (aside from the aquarium glass) that i give them, tho.

they'll lay on what is close to what they consider home.
