What do Damsel eggs look like?

Yellow tails to be specific. I know they are there but can never find them.. They are the only two fish in this tank & I see babies frequently.. I am just curious what the eggs look like. Why is it that the last two fish you want to reproduce are the ones that do it with gusto?? LOL
Thanks!

Easy.Watch from some distance and see where the male goes every minute or so.;)
There were some egg pics posted here, search also by Chrysiptera parasema.I have some pics somewhere, will try to post them.
They like to spawn in dark crevices. They´re easy breeders.

Sorry to inturupt but does anyone know how to pair them up? Thanks, Coty
Two ways:
Easy:When you see two of them in a lfs tank, buy them.
Hard:Put some few in a tank with lots of hiding possibilities and remove any badly beaten fish, until a pair remains.

Hi & thanks. I have tried watching & still cannot find them. But they are also laying on a 12lb & very complex piece of Fiji Rock. Its a rock that I have in a 10gl bare tank & trying to get rid of all of the Aiptasia before I put it into one of my main display tanks.
What color are the eggs? I assume they will be be size of clowns?
I tried to search for pics & could not find them.

Can you tell me more about their breeding habits? Such as typical length of time between egg laying, how many days it takes for the eggs to develope? Is the same as clowns?
I am pretty sure that they have been laying for quite some time & until they were moved out of the main tank I just never noticed. (they were in a 75) & I have just been lucky to catch it from time to time in the 10gl. I keep the lighting at a minimum & heavy filtration when I am not juicing.. Everytime I notice the fry they are gone in about 12hrs.
I am not looking to raise them (unless my kids need a science project) I am just curious.
Thanks for the help!

They are smaller, about half the size of clown eggs.1st day they´re white,2nd dark,3rd showing inside structure,4th eyes show,5th eyes very refringent and motile. They hatch the 5th night.Quite difficult to raise.

Hi & Thanks!
So if the last hatch was on Sunday (the 18th of march) would that have already laid again? The typical pattern seems to be that the male dissapears for close to 2 days deep into a hole. Female is very inactive during that time & seems to stay down low. Then suddenly they are both out & about & super agressive. Just before the fry are visible the tank gets very frothy at the top.
Like I said, I am not looking to breed. But would like to get a feel for the timing.. one reason is that the tank seems to become messy & I think that this might the reason. The second reason is that I am thinking that the fry could be transfered to another tank & instead of being sucked up into the filtration & wasted, they might serve as a benificial & nutritus snack for others?
Thanks!
