I find it hard to get much into focus. The camera has a set (or at least I can't figure out how to change) aperture of F4 and auto focus. I had turned down the exposure for some reason, I'll turn it up next time.

It's hard to say that your doing right or wrong I guess. With just a point and shoot camera they come out really nice just a few are out of focus and stated above I would bring in another light to capture more that is shadowed off but nice pics
