What do u feed your frag tanks???

Dan got any pics?

Not a lot to compair but if you look at the last pictures in my thread.... http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1853460&highlight=dan+rhomberg

the acans started with 3 heads on 1(now 10. you can see 4 big ones) an 1 smaller head on the other(now huge and 3 heads) Zoas and war coral are growing like mad.

The growth spurts were putting a serious drain on my calcium(dropped to 280!) I continue to dose calcium (15ml per day) to try to catch up the lvls, but I've been chasing 340 for a while now. Mag lvls dropped but now back up.(1140-1260). I'll dose it every once in a while.normaly needed at changes. I use Catalina water for wc once a week, every Sat if possible to keep a schedual. about 20% change. I keep the salinity at .024-.025

I feed heavy by alot of peoples standards 3 sm fish 1-2 flakes daily, 1 small pinch of cyclop-eeze daily, mysis shrimp and blood worm 1 cube each spot fed or filter fed once a week.

I'm brand new but I must be doing something right....:spin2:

Very nice dan now get on the ball and update your pics lol. Good growth is allways a good thing but the extra work and doseing is crazy

LOL...Thanks Dave.

I'm still new as I said. There is so much to learn!!!:reading:

I spend about 3 hours each day reading... LOL . I'm hooked!:spin3:

Ya Dan it can all be a little over whelming at times. Sounds like your on track and doing something right tho.

I use blackpowder once a week seems to work good for me

BlackPowder had some negative effects on my fishes.
They've got some white marks on the side of their bodies, like burning marks.
Be ware!

I know for sure was the product because I gave some time for the marks to "cure" and tried again. They came back next day. I've tried to add to the sump and didn't have the marks.

I've used the product only 3 times because of the problem and therefore I can't say that would be any good for the zoas.

Grandis.

Cyclopeze, a couple times a week, in the AM before the lights come on, spot fed to acans and zoas/palys that will take it. Captain America and Chong Bongs take a mouthful!

I just feed my sixline and chromis in my little 20 long and have no problems. Fish poop works wonders.
