What do you dose?

I have a Neptune Apex Dos coming in the next few days and am curious what to put in it. It has 2 pumps so one is clearly Alk. What do you dose with the second pump for a reef aquarium? I would love to put a mix of Mg and Ca but for some reason I do not think I can combine them. Thoughts?

Also, how do you determine your dosing levels? What is your most trusted dosing calculator?

You cannot combine the calcium and magnesium, it will precipitate. Many reefers do not need to dose magnesium or simply manually dose it once a week. You could add a third doser like a Bulk Reef Supply dosing unit if your tank does require regular magnesium dosing, but I would use your DOS for calcium and alkalinity (assuming you need to dose both).
