what do you feed them?

Right now I have a 3" blue hippo tang and hope to get a blonde naso as soon as I finish getting my 350 set up. My question is, once the tangs get larger what do I feed them? Right now I feed her Nori and rods food but I don't think the rods food is good for larger tangs as its pretty small pieces.

Rods makes many different versions now. Mysis is good. Pellets, sustained aquatics or spectrum. Formula one or two. A varied diet is best.

Oh ok. Right now I feed rods herbivore and rods fish only and spectrum tiny pellets. Does rods make food with larger pieces? I will look into the krill. Where do you get it? Is it larger pieces?

Yes they do. I fed some today and it had a chunk that was half of a whole table shrimp in it. I'm talking shrimp that people eat. It also has whole krill and other large pieces.

I get a bag of.frozen sea food mix at asian store with some raw shrimp and throw in bledder and blend it till tooth paste looking...then freeze in zip lock bags by flatten it out and break it off to thaw as i need it for feeding...its like crack for my fishes...

I do this as well; just add some nori sheets every now and then...

When you say toothpaste consistency, are the pieces too small that they don't get eaten or are they still large enough for larger fish?

Some of the meat have squid and calamari that dont get blend into small small pieces because of its texture and its perfect for 6 inch up size fishes...i have smaller fishes like anthias too so it meets all there needs...plus some freezes in chunks and the fishes can tear it up that way too...
