what do you feed your angelfish

I just got a pair of Angelfish, and was wondering what others feed. Dose sheet alge work or do I need Spirulina flakes.

Actually anything frozen, and planktonic. You're prob going to have to try different types of foods. They'll tell u what they like thru trial and error.

I have a my angel collect has a adult french, adult emperor, flagfin, and a magestic. I feed a sheet of nori a day and new life spectrum medium large fish pellets with a combo forumal 1 and 2 pellets. Maybe once a week or two I will feed frozen angel food but this is rarely. Both the french and emperor have grown from 2 inch juvs to over 8 inch thick adults in the four years I have them.

Yea, I feed mine the Omega One, and Spectrum pellets also. If you can get them on pelleted foods that's really the cheapest way as far as pre-packaged foods goes (at least by weight).

I feed Formula 1 and 2, Reef Formula, nori sheets, mysis, brine....angels are omnivores. Feeding a varied diet of quality foods is key to keeping them happy and healthy.
