Hey guys don't no if you all already no well some do. I've been dealing with high phosphate and nitrate the past few weeks scraping algea off my glass and to having it on my live rock. Well about 4 days now I went and got a gfo reactor put some bio pellets in and done a few water changes as well. Today well I tested my water and I just want to no what you guys think... thanks fellow reefs

Both look quite low. Between 0-0.25ppm on the PO4, and between 0-5ppm on the NO3. What were the values before? Scraping algae off glass and having algae on the rocks, to some extent, is just part of the hobby.

My p04 was at 0.25 and my N03 was at 5.0 I'm pretty sure. And that's true but I just didn't think it was right having to clean the glass at least twice a day. Was getting frustrating but now it has slowed down that's for sure.. let's hope lol

Yep, that sounds like a pain. Is the tank fairly new? If you are curious, there are low range phosphate and nitrate kits. Good luck

Yeah it's pretty new I'm saying almost 5 months now. You think this is pretty normal then?? And yes I am I'm always up for new pointers and better stuff to use
