What do you keep your tank temp at?

It is winter time and I'm trying to lower my tank a little so it doesn't hammer my electricity bill. I looked around for temp recommendation and it seems to be all over the place. The consensus is around 78F but there are some outlier 72-78F (liveaquaria), to 80-83. So...

What do you keep yours at?

77-78 i believe makes your corals grow the best. but i know a guy who has seahorses and keeps his tank with corals at 74

78 for me as well.

Although some will advocate a higher temperature, say 80-82, the increase in temp decreases the ability of the water to hold dissolved oxygen and unnecessarily increase my already to high electric bill.

74 to 76 for the last I do not know 20 plus years... We keep the tropical tanks around 80 deg..

I think its more about consistency then it is about what temp . I also believe the temp in the ocean can have drastic changes due to storms..

What are you using to regulate temp? New to hobby. I have 200 gallon glass cylinder.
I have two of these and 4 500 w titanium heaters and .the cool side is connected to fans above my canopy and in the basement window ...

two of the heaters are in my fuge in the living room and two in my sump..

I do not heat and cool the pond it stays right around 70 deg year round as its on the basement..

77-78 and if you want to get more accurate 77.6 is the average temp of the tank everyday Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
