What do you think about this lighting?

I would steer clear for a couple of reasons. First, T5 fixtures are all about the reflectors. This fixture does not mention individual reflectors, which is very important. A T5 bulb is 5/8" in diameter. A reflector for a T5 bulb is 2.5", with a few manufacturers making 2" reflectors. An 8 bulb T5 fixture should be at least 16" wide - this is only 12", which goes back to not having individual reflectors.

A 4 or 6 bulb fixture with individual reflectors will put out more light, and use less electricity.

Second, no brand name is mentioned. So you have no idea what the quality may be, and good luck on a warranty.

For less money, you are better off getting an Aquatic Life 4 bulb fixture or a Nova Extreme Pro 6 bulb fixture. It will cost less to run and give you better performance

Have this light but 72" w/ 6-80w t5's. Its nice and bright been running for about 6 months with no problems. Change the bulbs to ati's. But I did need to do some work to make it work right.

One word of caution when I recieved the unit plugged the unit in and sparks flew, tripped a breaker. The switches on the side of unit the wires on the back of the switches were touching the reflector which was grounded. Emailed the seller refunded most of the cost of the unit.
Switching to a bigger tank now will be going with icecap T5 retros
